Zareen and Kai from Bluebell Class each received a Headteacher Award for their excellent independent writing during activity time this week. Both children used their Fred Fingers to write a story about one of the animals from our book of the week, ‘Polar Bear, Polar Bear, What Do You Hear?’. Fabulous work!

Anaya received the Headteacher Award in Buttercup Class this week for producing an excellent piece of work in her first Big Write. Well done, Anaya!

The Headteacher Award in Daisy Class went to Tolu! Tolu has been impressing us with her fantastic reading skills recently, and she is also producing beautiful pieces of writing in Literacy. Well done, Tolu!

The Headteacher Award in Daffodil Class goes to Musa. Musa, during class and group discussion in maths, has shown great improvement. Musa can make different values using different coins using his calculation strategies. Well done, Musa, keep up the great work and engagement!

We have three winners of the Headteacher Award in Sunflower Class this week! Nova has completed super work in Science. We have been learning about different materials and sorting objects by the materials they are made from When sorting her objects, Nova spotted that scissors are made from two different materials. Karam has been working extra hard on his writing and making sure he is pinching on sounds, especially when writing tricky words. During a fire drill this week Aanya was a fantastic role model. She was very sensible, lined up perfectly as soon as she was told and made super choices. Well done to all of these children.

In Poppy Class, Hayat received a Headteacher Award this week for her enthusiasm in Maths. Even when it was her partner’s turn to answer questions on the board, Hayat engaged in partner talk and even volunteered her answer to the rest of the class. A great learning attitude! Lelani also received a Headteacher Award in Poppy Class for wowing us this week with her knowledge of coins. She showed great enthusiasm for finding different coins to make 50p!

In Carnation Class, Shae received the Headteacher Award this week for the excellent effort he has been putting into his reading. Shae has become much more confident since coming back to school and is starting to share answers during lessons. Keep up the hard work!

The Headteacher Award in Orchid Class goes to Charlotte who has shown real dedication to her learning. Charlotte has been going above and beyond, completing all her work, and even some extra! She is determined to progress and her hard work is beginning to pay off. Amazing work, Charlotte! Well done!
