Year 1 visited the Havering Museum this week as part of our learning about Changes in Living Memory. We learned about how the area around our school has changed and found out it used to be a hospital, and we saw some pictures of our school being built. We then did a scavenger hunt around the museum, looking at different artefacts including ink quill, mobile phones and photos of the Oldchurch Hospital. We all had a fabulous time! A huge thank you to all the parents who assisted us and made it possible for us to give the children this experience.
