This week, Year 5 took part in their 11before11 Presentation Day where they presented their business ideas to Mr Akhtar and Ms Black! On 11th July 2022, the children will be selling a range of products to raise money for the British Heart Foundation. However, before they could sell anything they had to obtain approval first!
In the past few weeks, Year 5 have worked with their fellow ‘colleagues’ to find out what their product will be, the costs for the materials they need to make their products, the profit they aspire to make on the day, how many items they want to sell, who their target audience is, and some groups also talked about the net and gross profit! I’m certain we have a few budding entrepreneurs in the class as their presentations and product ideas were exemplary – they even had high quality prototypes.
