The Star of the Week in Buttercup Class goes to Sriya! During Continuous Provision, Sriya has been working hard to complete all of the activities that are set in the classroom. Sriya has particularly impressed us with her writing where she has been keen to model how to use capital letters and full stops. Well done, Sriya!
The Star of the Week in Bluebell Class is Orion-Jacob. He has been working so hard during Phonics to use his Fred Fingers and sound out words he wants to write. Orion-Jacob has also been engaging well with the different learning areas in the classroom. He is working hard to try and earn his lollysticks every day and we are really proud of him. Well done!
Star of the Week in Daisy Class goes to Sofi! This week, Sofi has been trying really hard to talk to her classmates and teachers. Additionally, Sofi has been working extremely hard during Phonics on her reading, specifically her blending. Well done, Sofi! All of your teachers are proud of you!
Star of the Week in Lilac goes to Khadeejah. Khadeejah has been showing great determination in Maths. She tries her hardest to complete her work independently and she is becoming more confident to share her answers with the class. Keep up the good work, Khadeejah!
Star of the Week in Daffodil Class is Suars. This week, we have been incredibly proud of Suars, who has been showing outstanding behaviour for learning. He has been making the right choices in all lessons and modelling this behaviour to his peers. Well done for being such a great role model, Suars. The Star of the Week in Lily Class goes to Aayush for his excellent participation in our maths lessons this week. We have been looking at different ways to check our answers for addition and subtraction sums. Aayush has been able to explain how he checked his answers using the column method, counting in steps of tens and then ones as well as the partitioning method. Fantastic job Aayush, keep it up!

Our Star of the Week in Carnation goes to Caiya! Caiya has made a huge effort this week to focus on developing her writing, producing an excellent opening to a non-chronological report. She has also been creating some excellent estimations in mathematics. Well done, Caiya!
Star of the Week in Freesia has been awarded to Jeevan! Jeevan has shown excellent investigation skills during our science lesson when exploring forces and magnets, asking plenty of questions that show a deeper level of thinking. Great work, Jeevan!
Vrishank completed excellent research relating to our RE unit on Hinduism, so he is our Star of the Week in Orchid! He also created an art piece of one of the gods for the class display. Well done!!
Star of the Week in Magnolia Class is Anwita for writing a fantastic pair of diary entries from the perspectives of different characters.
The Star of the Week for Iris Class is presented to Mahdi for having a hardworking attitude in lessons and a determination to do well in all the revision sessions. Mahdi has been working well in the lead up to the Year 6 SATs, thinking carefully about how to solve a range of reasoning problems, being able to find evidence from the text in reading and recalling grammatical terminology.
