Star of the Week in Daisy Class is Roman! This week we are reading ” Tiddler” by Julia Donaldson. To further develop our understanding of the story we have been learning how to tell the time on analogue clocks. Roman has shown fantastic focus and interest in using clocks to represent “o’clock” times. Keep up the fantastic work, Roman. 

The Star of the Week in Buttercup Class goes to John! John has worked exceptionally hard this week with his reading and writing. He was able to use adjectives in his sentences to describe different fish from our story ‘Tiddler’. Additionally, he has been a great role model to his peers by showing them how to do Star Sitting. Keep it up, John! 

Star of the Week in Bluebell Class goes to Sienna. Sienna has impressed us this week by being a great role model to all of her peers. Throughout this week, Sienna showed amazing Star Sitting and lining up, as well as encouraging others to follow all the golden rules. Additionally, Sienna engaged in all of the continuous provision activities and always tried her best with all of them. Well done, Sienna, you’re a star!

Star of the Week in Sunflower Class goes to Jordan! Jordan has been given the award for setting a great example in class and always trying his best. Well done, Jordan!

Star of the Week in Lilac Class goes to George. George has been doing excellent partner work during Phonics, ensuring he is taking turns and listening to his partner and he has been making a super effort to make good choices when walking around the school. Keep up the good work, George!

The Star of the Week in Daffodil Class is Ernie. Ernie has settled well into his new class and is always up for trying new things. Well done, Ernie. Keep it up.  

Star of the Week in Lily Class is Kayden! Kayden created a wonderful collage of Queen Elizabeth I using tissue paper and coloured pencils. Kayden also recorded some interesting Tudor facts and was able to explain the advantages and disadvantages of Elizabethan life. Sensational work, Kayden!

Caiya is our Star of the Week in Poppy Class for her super progress in Guided Reading. She has made a real effort to improve her comprehension skills and gives thoughtful reasons when recommending books.

Molly has received the Star of the Week award in Carnation Class this week because she has been an amazing role model to others in her class, especially during Morning Maths. Well done!

Star of the Week in Orchid Class has been awarded to Rayhan! Rayhan has shown dedication to learning all of his times tables and has been consistently achieving full marks when sitting his MTC test! Amazing work, Rayhan!

The Star of the Week for Magnolia Class is Meerab! I am particularly impressed with Meerab and her work for the Year 5 11Before11 project where the children are thinking of products that they can sell to raise money for the British Heart Foundation. Meerab has created prototypes for her group! Well done Meerab, keep up the creative work!
