World Book Day 2018
We had some amazing costumes in school with both staff and pupils really getting into the spirit!
Miss Black (Little Rabbit Foo Foo) held a special assembly for everyone in Bluebell’s classroom. The children were led through an interactive presentation about World Book Day and also acted out some of Miss Black’s favourite book.
The winners of the best costume competition were chosen as follows;
Bluebell winner – Logan
Bluebell runner up – Anastasia
Sunflower Winner – Rehan
Sunflower runner up – Nadia
The winners received a new book and the runners up received a motivational rubber. Every child received a £1 book token to use towards their next book.
The children also took turns to vote for their favourite staff costume and although it was a very tough task, the winner was Miss Clarke as The Very Hungry Caterpillar.
